England celebrates Test win against India with Stokes performances

According to sources, the players are celebrating after winning the fifth Test rematch against India. Ben Stokes captained the test, and England is having their most successful Test in history. It was also the ninth largest in the game’s history.

Joe Root, who recently resigned as captain, and Jonny Bairstow, scored centuries for the win against Men in Blue. In that Test, for the second time in the innings, Stuart Broad had taken his place as next man-in, and then Root and Bairstow could blast a hit to secure the win for England.

The report said that, in a Sunday club game, Stokes’ leadership made England win because the captain had the capability to encourage other players to play more “relaxed “and enjoy the Test. in total, after the Test, England achieved straight success in Edgbaston.

Stokes play as captain

On 28 April, Stokes was named as England men’s Test captain after Root’s resignation. Then, he led the team with manager Brendon McCullum’s tactics. England played attacking methods with the bat and won all four of their Tests under McCullum’s leadership, including sweeping New Zealand 3-0 in early June and the fifth Test against India to tie the series at 2-2.

The left-handed baseman would have struck first at Lord’s against New Zealand but lost the toss. However, Stokes and England’s players managed to score 3.4 runs per over to beat New Zealand on 3.2.

It wasn’t until Stokes and England coach McCullum flooded the post-match environment with positivity that England won the Test, sources say.

The report said that alongside Stokes as captain, with his leadership and command, both Stokes and McCullum can enhance the play by utilising two players in peak form, notably Bairstow and previous England captain Root.

Bairstow performance

As a cricketer, Bairstow plays internationally for England in all formats and represents Yorkshire in domestic. He also played in multiple Twenty20 leagues, including for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League.

Bairstow has hit 600 in eight appearances this year, as many as he managed in his first 79 games for England.

He began this year with his hundred caps Ashes in Sydney before playing in another test in the Caribbean. The right-handed cricketer walked out of his current team Punjab Kings which played in the Indian Premier League and before returning to Test cricket for England.

Despite a lack of training, Bairstow managed to perform and made a shot-a-ball 16 at Lord’s. He got praise from England bowler Broad as a teammate.

Bairstow said that he was playing well because he could do anything he wanted to do before the test. He went on to say that freedom had supported him to perform well.

“You can do normal things, go to the store, have a beer, eat out, see your friends, see your family,” he said.

Following that, Stokes, Bairstow, and the rest of the team will face New Zealand in a Test series in Queenstown. However, the England squad is celebrating their victory in Nottinghamshire with a day off before the test.
